In this log entry the mapper is apparently available for downloading but the release date was missing. The date in the log entry was 2009 April, which would be in 2010. But in the press release of the next release, version 5.0, no date is mentioned either.

Thermal spray processes are not limited to the spray of materials that are melted by heat. The invention can be applied to spray materials that are solid or semi-solid at ambient temperature. A thermal spray process that is capable of applying these materials is referred to as a cold spraying process. The materials can include metals, metal alloys, ceramic materials and metal oxides.
In addition to metals and metal alloys, some ceramic materials can be applied by a thermal spray process. For example, alumina, silica, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, boron carbide, boron nitride and silicon dioxide can be deposited by a thermal spray process.

How to use this mod:
NOTE: This mod is not a PVP mod, so you may use it for non PVP.
This mod is a RAR decompressor to unpack files.
When a player starts the game, it will open the archive (the game folder) with the compressor already on it. There are no rules about decompressing speed.
The decompressor doesn't remove any file before uncompressing, it just opens the file and copies the content into the directory.
When the player opens the game with the game folder, it will have all the other files already decompressed.
When there is no ZIP file before, the player has to extract the contents with 7zip, Winrar or any other compression program.
How to update:
It's not possible. You must download this archive.
It's because files are hidden.
You can use this archive to update the mod, but it will overwrite all the files. If you don't want to lose your files, it's better to remove the mod folder (you can see all the files are in this mod).
The new version of this mod will also overwrite all the files, except the archive.
How to use this mod:
You need to put the folder (which contains all the files) in your game directory (the same directory with the game).
If you have this mod (or SlimScraps Mod) installed, you can delete this mod.

I have no idea about SlimScraps Mod. I never used it.
It doesn't have any rule about decompression speed. It's the player's choice.
I have created a RAR decompressor. When the player starts the game, the compression will be already on the game folder.
